Job Context

In continuation to that, BRAC has taken Humanitarian Crisis Management Project in Ukhia and Teknaf Upazila of Cox`s Bazar district to support the displaced people arriving from the Rakhine state of Myanmar.
Job Responsibilities
Execute directions and assist support team in relationship management with assigned objective.
Implement the child protection activities in both camps and host community.
Coordinate and participate Child Protection Sub-Sector (CPSS) and participate in CPSS meetings and implement accordingly.
Activities plan, implement, monitor, analysis and documentations of the activities.
Work in liaison with CIC and other actors of the camp to ensure effective project implementation.
Develop regular periodical reports according to the need based
Maintain the liaison with Child Protection Team, MHPSS Team, Research Team, Monitoring Team to ensure best implementation of the project
Organize and facilitate capacity development training for the staffs.
Visit field and monitor the project implementation activities.
Coordinate with visitors and donors from national and international agencies to visit centers and programs of Child Protection (HPL, CFS, Confidential Rooms, Adolescent Clubs, Health Centers, Static Clinics, Primary Health Centers and so on).
Coordinate adolescent, psycho social support, case management and community engagement activities to ensure appropriate service for the beneficiaries.
Work in close collaboration with the community mobilizers to strengthen our relationship with the community and to strengthen the referral system.
Ensure constant and transparent communication and collaboration with relevant stakeholders, including community members, community leaders and families.
Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.

Educational Requirements: Bachelor degree in any discipline
Preferable in Social work, Sociology, Psychology or Public health
Experience Requirements: At least 1 year(s)
Additional Requirements: Knowledge on coordination, monitoring, report writing, presentation preparation, and safeguarding.
Knowledge on people management.
Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders in a sensitive environment.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Have computer skills with all Microsoft Office programs (MS Word, Power Point, and Excel).
Excellent influencing, negotiating and communication skills.
Excellent organization, and coordination skills.
Demonstrated ability to think technically, prioritize and meet deadlines in a complex and challenging environment; must be culturally sensitive.
Ability to operate in a complex organization, across functions and work on own initiative and collaboratively as part of diverse teams.
